As an artist, my main goal has always been to learn new forms of art that I can use as different ways to express myself while always keeping true to who I am. Growing up, I started my art career being taught how to draw with pastels and paints every Tuesday from a neighbor in the New Jersey suburb I grew up in; learning how to blend and create colors, how to shade, and how to use basic art supplies. I eventually found a passion in line work when I began creating art in micron pens and printmaking in high school. When my artistic exposure  declined as I entered college and began pursuing Data Science as my major as opposed to my original plan of pursuing art, I found a love for expressing myself through makeup. I started painting my eyelids and my face every time I would go out at night, as a way to show my love for all things vibrant and colorful and to express my artistic personality at first glance. As I continue to experiment with new and fun makeup colors and styles, I am also making an effort to bring the love and passion I have for creating art back into my everyday world, since I feel as though it has been lost in the process of growing up. Art has always been an outlet for me- both drawing and writing- and as life takes its course it becomes more of a therapeutic necessity day after day. When it's not a colorful happiness that I am trying to express, I use my artwork to express my sadness and anxiety in a beautiful way that is personal and relatable.
