These pictures are from my sketchbook and they show my messy process of thinking about what I want my zine to say and what I want it to be about. The link following those pictures takes you to a Pinterest board I created to help me with this project. The saved images are those that gave me inspiration and could be used as a starting point for my following 8 ideas that I hope to execute in mainly photoshop.

For this zine I want to create something that radiates a desire for an answer. I want my photos and over all theme to explore the vague question of life: What's our purpose? With the words I choose on the first and last pages, I want there to be a sense of hope and curiousness in the question while still displaying desperately not knowing the answer. In all my images I plan to make collages from photos I took myself as well as photos from the internet. The front and second to last page of the zine will have words as the main focus point on the page. The middle pages will have the words written integratively into the collage/photos where I will be trying to express the word digitally without relying on the word as a focus point.
